Our School

History of Our School

Our school is built by Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was opened by the National Education Minister  Hüseyin ÇELİK in 2008-2009 academic year. The name "Kadri Şaman" was given to our school as a memorial of Kadri ŞAMAN who passed away during the construction of the school while he was the head of MTSO.

 Our school started education and teaching in 2 Fields and 4 Branches in 2008-2009 academic year. The 6777 square meters area is laid out as a base of 1391 square meters. The total construction area is 7073 square meters. The school is in the form of heating. In the school garden, football, basketball, volleyball and badminton are ready with all materials.

 Our associates; They will be able to find jobs in sectors related to their fields; They are also preferred due to our cooperation with the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Our students who have passed the transition examination have a brilliant career opportunity because they apply the same coefficient to secondary education institutions that are not Vocational High Schools.

 

Our Vision

 It is to educate creative, contemporary individuals who love their country and profession, are confident researchers, assimilate scientific developments in the world and in education, and communicate well with their environment, can produce practical and permanent solutions in reaching their targets.

 

Our Mission

 To train qualified personnel who are dependent on Ataturk´s principles and reforms, who are able to adapt to learning methods and who are able to use changeable, advanced technology, who are equipped with highly qualified professional knowledge and who can meet the employment needs of the environment.

 

About Our School

 Our school has 53 teachers and 2 guidance teachers. 750 students are studying. There are 16 classrooms, 1 library, 1 conference hall, 11 workshop, 1 canteen, 1 dining hall, 1 garden. Our school has single teaching. Course Start Time 07:40 Course End Time 16:25. School YGS / LYS Achievement Status 80% success, LYS Student Placement% 45.

BIOMEDICAL DEVICE TECHNOLOGIES FIELD

 The development of biomedical device technologies in parallel with rapid developments in the field of medicine has made this field very important in the world. The development and use of medical devices in diagnosis and treatment has increased, and naturally this has also increased the demand for widespread use of devices worldwide. Increasing use of devices and widespread demand has created a "service support" business area that has a very important place after production and sales for devices. Technical service staff working in this business area also work for human health and quality of life by providing quality service support services through training, certificated duties and jobs.

 The need for intermediate staff with the most current applied field training to solve technical problems is also quite high. It is aimed to train the technicians who will meet this need with the field and branch programs of Anatolian Technical High School of Biomedical Device Technologies. Technicians to be trained in this context; Maintenance and repair of the devices, and the purchase of services from abroad and therefore foreign exchange and foreign dependency will be greatly reduced.

 MEDICAL LABORATORY AND NON-PATIENT APPLIANCES TECHNICAL SERVICE STAFF

 It is also possible to control the installation conditions for medical laboratories and non-patient application devices, to install, start up, maintain, diagnose, repair and calibrate and adjust the settings themselves and / or with the technical support team within a certain period of time Making knowledge and skills.

 

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES FIELD

 COMPUTER TECHNICAL SERVICE BRANCH

 It is aimed to educate the professionals who have the competencies to install the hardware and software of the computer systems and to make the circuits of the systems of troubleshooting and control.

 DATABASE PROGRAMMING

 It is aimed to train the technical staff of the computer systems with the competencies of hardware and software installation, database and programming language setup, database creation and management, software development, debugging, maintenance and backup.

  WEB PROGRAMMING

  In addition to computer system hardware and software installation information, web page design and programming languages are used to train technical staff with competencies to prepare interactive web applications.

 

 FOOD TECHNOLOGIES AREA

  The Food Technologist is an intermediate professionnel who is responsible for producing, packaging, storing and analyzing sensory, physical and chemical microbiological quality control analyzes of foodstuffs in accordance with health conditions and interpretation of their results.

 

 ELECTRIC-ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES FIELD

 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS AND PANEL BRANCH

  In the field of electricity-electronics; It is aimed to educate qualified intermediate staff members who have the knowledge and skill to perform the works related to the installation of the inside and outside electrical installations and all the electrical panels within a certain period on their own.

 

 LABMOVE PROJECT

  In 2014, Kadri Shaman MTSO Vocational and Technical Director, who received a donation with the project "Learn the Basics of the Mobile App to Visualize Education" under the IPA (Human Resources Development Operational Program) in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security 2014-TR01-K102-005691 Technical Anatolian High School successfully completed its project

  It aims to visualize educational environments by using mobile technologies, to refresh course curricula, to meet the need of qualified staff in mobile software sector, and to adapt and improve themselves to trainers in renewed education environments.

  Project activities complete the achievement by performing ground movements in Italy and Portugal. The first movement activity of the project was realized between 25.04.2015 - 01.05.2015 in Milan city of Italy when it was hosted for "Europe All". Second mobility activity was held 23.07.2015-29.07.2015 between the dates of Vidigueira, Portugal "AENIE" was hosted in the city. A total of 18 participants and the project which has been passed on have been carried out in order to enrich the education and training environments in which mobile applications are developed.

 

 IOT DIGI CLASS Project

  Our school was ranked 20th among 26 projects across the country with the project "DIGITIZING EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING ENVIRONMENT WITH IOT APPS" and was awarded a grant.

  The agreement of the European Union´s IOT DIGI CLASS project, which was accepted in 2015 under ERASMUS +, the grant program for education, youth and sports, officially started in December 2015 with an agreement between Turkey´s national agency and Kadri Shaman MTSO Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Erasmus + Vocational training Strategic partnerships have entered into 26 projects on the project acceptance list and have achieved great success as one of the 2 vocational schools in the country.

  The project aims to create smart classrooms and school environments by using IOT technologies. In this context, a prototype of an idea called IOT DIGI CLASS will be prepared by bringing systems such as electronics, mechatronics, software, communication and data base together and a written education material describing these systems will be prepared with IOT DIGI CLASS Module and used in education and training environments

 .The IOT DIGI CLASS PROJECT started with the participation of project partner countries at the Kick Off Meeting held on 8-9 January 2016. The project will take place within a 24-month period coordinated by Inercia Digital from Spain, AEVO from Portugal, Coleguil Tecnic from Romania, ITIS Feltrinelli from Italy and our school.

 

 DigitALL Stories Project

  Our school ´Erasmus + Main Action 1´ Project for ´DigitALL Stories-Learning For Everyone´ was accepted within the scope of the activity of School Education Personnel Mobility.

  With the project planned in the form of two mobility, our school teachers will participate in business and observational activities in the Czech Republic. The project, supported by the Turkish National Agency, To improve the competencies of our participants with the trainings and digital narration that they can offer at every stage of education and in order to acquire competencies such as teaching skills, communication skills with learners, collaborative working skills. In addition, to increase the efficiency of technological applications and to increase this process. It is to make students gain their skills. Along with these, participants are able to recognize different cultures and to help their language development. Another goal of the project is to create a Digital Storytelling Platform to help teachers and students reach the course content where they want it.
